The Chalets are very neat and tidy, the grounds well kept.
Wireless internet is not in the chalets, but was at the inn, and
it takes about 30 seconds to walk there. The sunrise is
fantastic as [this location] is not fogged in. Everything in the chalet
operated as expected, and the local Moncton paper was delivered
each morning. I highly recommend this location if you like the
chalet-type of accommodation.
(note: We now have wireless internet in our
chalets!)
We spent three nights at the cabins with our two young
children. We loved the location, the condition of the cabin, the
great view and all the amazing things one can do in the area. We
went hiking, kayaking in the bay, and spent some time in Alma as
well. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved
the cabin!
We will recommend this accommodation and will
definitely consider coming back. It was a highlight of our
family vacation in Canada.
My wife and I have vacationed at the Fundy Highlands Chalets
for several years, and we will keep returning as long as we can.
The Inn and Chalets are located in Fundy National Park. Perched
on the hillside, they offer a superb view of the bay. From this
peaceful and secluded resort, it is an easy walk to the park
headquarters, the idyllic fishing village of Alma, or several
beautiful inland or coastal hikes. Many trails are just ten
minutes away by car. The solid wood chalets are beautiful
examples of the woodworking skills developed by the shipbuilders
of the area. They are immaculate and well maintained.
The
kitchenette is well stocked with decent cooking gear and the
beds are firm and comfortable. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure that we have
enjoyed our visits. The area affords excellent hiking with
stunning views. Paradise! The only thing we don't like is having
to leave.
